dynosophical
I'm wondering if I could use Sync for a specific scenario. Let's say I have a a folder structure like this on the source machine: RootInstance AFolder 1Folder 2Instance BFolder 1Folder 2 Would I be able to sync it with a client machine (read only) such that the client machine could be like this: RootInstance AFolder 1Folder 2Folder 3 (client only)Instance BFolder 1Folder 2Folder 3 (client only)Instance C (client only)Folder 1Folder 2Folder 3 In other words, can I specify which folders/subfolders/files to sync while allowing the client to have additional items adjacent to them but still in the folder being synced? RomanZ
@dynosophicalYes, you can do it. Your client computer should get "read-only" key. In this case, Folder 1/2 will be delivered and kept in sync with no issues, while Sync won't touch any extra folders (as this is RO folder). Though note, that no changes from your client are going to be synced to your "source" computer.
