sunny81_2003 Posted March 28, 2022 Report Share Posted March 28, 2022 Scenario: Equipment: 2 Laptops, 1 External USB3 HDD, 1 Android Mobile Description: External HDD is attached to Laptop A and from android mobile data is synced in External HDD. Now if laptop A is not working, is it possible to attach the External HDD to Laptop B and sync the mobile with same folders. What needs to be changed? e.g. configuration etc. How we can achieve this potability that you put the external hard in any laptop and your phone could sync the same folders in External HDD. Thanks. Tony R Posted January 2 Report Share Posted January 2 I'm thinking it could possibly be done if both computers had the same 'identity'. I'm going to experiment with this when time permits as I have a similar requirement only with two OSs on one computer and internal drives and I've just encountered the below when attempting it.
