Permissions on ReadyNas

Recommended Posts

I am looking to sync a shared location on my ReadyNas with resilio.

In the readynas resilio gui, I added a location for my share (i.e. c/Public) and I have given read/write access key to a couple of client computers.  Sync works just fine, as files added anywhere in the chain are visible to the devices.

However, I have a permissions problem.  I noticed all files are created on the Readynas as user:root and group:root.  Is there a way to at least set the group so that anyone accessing the shared location via SMB or other methods is still able to modify the files created by resilio?
