emmenlau Posted 4 hours ago Report Share Posted 4 hours ago I use sync for Android quite successfully and I'm generally very happy with it! Recently I started using it for a very large encrypted container, that I sometimes would open of the desktop, sometimes in the phone. When the container is changed on the desktop computer (Ubuntu Linux), sync on the phone sees a change, but stays in Idle and does not actually download changes. This goes on basically forever, sometimes 1h or more, without sync showing any progress... See attached screenshot. I'm not sure if this has something to do with the fact that the container is quite large (10GB), or that it is mounted as an encrypted drive and modified inside? Generally my computers and network are very fast, so checksumming the 10GB file should work in less than a minute on the desktop, and the network transfer always achieves more than 10MB/sec...
