The weird thing is, I updated to DSM4.2 beta and it still does not work.
I'm on a DS1010+ on this one, maybe it has a different GLIBC version than other types of DS.

Fantastic!
CLI sounds GREAT!
Will this build be able to run on the Synology with DSM 4.0 and upward? (GLIBC issues)
Looking forward to host my own cloud storage. ;-)

I second that... 64 bit would be awesome.

When running (trying to run) the SyncApp on my Synology 1010+ (DSM 4.1 I386). I get this message.
./SyncApp_i386-1.0.63: /lib/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.4' not found (required by ./SyncApp_i386-1.0.63)
Seems that it was compiled to a different glibc library.
I also get this message when running it on my spare Synology 508 (powerpc). This is DSM 4.0.
(Also, empty directories are not removed on Destination when removed from Source.
But I saw later this was allready addressed in another post, sorry)
Quick 2cents....

Can you also include information on the interface of the linux client about connected hosts and up and down speeds and which files are transmitted?
In other words, more of the interface of the windows client put into the linux client?
B.T.W. Looking forward to the CLI version, great idea.
PS. I have seen screenshots of a 1.0.64 version, however, my clients states it is up-to-date. Do we recieve new version via the e-mail? (I use 1.0.63)

I've mentioned this before. Does anyone have the same problem as me?
When using a Synology NAS (DS1010+ or the DS508) with the latest DSM 4.2 Beta but also the previous DSM 4.1 on the DS1010+ (i386) AND the DSM 4.0 which is running on the DS508 (ppc) (cannot upgrade to newer version) I get this.
I get this with 1.0.75, 1.0.63 and 1.0.62. I cannot upgrade my Glibc to a 2.4 variant. The information on the libc.so.6 is:
Someone out there must also have this problem. I believe on newer nasses of Synology there must be a newer version of glibc installed. Can someone please verify this? Enter this on your commandline:
and post the output.
Can someone build me a version for 2.3 glibc to test on my nasses? Or build me a static linked version. I might think that when the SyncApp gets released, lots of people want to run this on their older nas too.
