  1. The Windows build in http://syncapp.bittorrent.com/1.1.70/ is 1.1.69 . . . is there a wrong file/link?
  2. have just upgraded to 1.1.42, was using 1.1.30 . . . should there have been .dmp files in that directory though for future reference?
  3. Just had another crash and there are no .dmp files in that directory, I am displaying hidden files and system files also.
  4. Updated to 1.1.30 on July 10. Noticed just now the BT Sync icon was missing from the tray and checked my event logs to see it crashed earlier today with no notification: Log Name: Application Source: Application Error Date: 7/15/2013 4:45:52 PM Event ID: 1000 Task Category: (100) Level: Error Keywords: Classic User: N/A Computer: VOSTRO2 Description: Faulting application name: BTSync.exe, version: 1.1.30.0, time stamp: 0x51dc133a Faulting module name: BTSync.exe, version: 1.1.30.0, time stamp: 0x51dc133a Exception code: 0xc0000417 Fault offset: 0x00103376 Faulting process id: 0xe70 Faulting application start time: 0x01ce7f069ca29da4 Faulting application path: C:\Program Files\BitTorrent Sync\BTSync.exe Faulting module path: C:\Program Files\BitTorrent Sync\BTSync.exe Report Id: 892c0bc7-ed8f-11e2-b8a7-001d098efdae Event Xml: <Event xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/win/2004/08/events/event"> <System> <Provider Name="Application Error" /> <EventID Qualifiers="0">1000</EventID> <Level>2</Level> <Task>100</Task> <Keywords>0x80000000000000</Keywords> <TimeCreated SystemTime="2013-07-15T20:45:52.000000000Z" /> <EventRecordID>75998</EventRecordID> <Channel>Application</Channel> <Computer>VOSTRO2</Computer> <Security /> </System> <EventData> <Data>BTSync.exe</Data> <Data>1.1.30.0</Data> <Data>51dc133a</Data> <Data>BTSync.exe</Data> <Data>1.1.30.0</Data> <Data>51dc133a</Data> <Data>c0000417</Data> <Data>00103376</Data> <Data>e70</Data> <Data>01ce7f069ca29da4</Data> <Data>C:\Program Files\BitTorrent Sync\BTSync.exe</Data> <Data>C:\Program Files\BitTorrent Sync\BTSync.exe</Data> <Data>892c0bc7-ed8f-11e2-b8a7-001d098efdae</Data> </EventData> </Event>
  5. Acrobat 9.5, but I didn't create the file as the last process, I was editing an existing PDF and when I saved the final changes I happened to have the directory open on another monitor and saw it get replaced almost instantly with the .!sync.
  6. Had a strange behaviour tonight, I finished working on a 4 MB PDF file and when I saved it, it was immediately replaced with a .!sync fileholder. It was back to the correct file after a couple of minutes, just wondered why that would be the case? I understand the placeholder on machines that don't have the entire file, but this was the machine with the original file: http://d.pr/i/5g9j
  7. It would be handy for those managing multiple systems to be able to see which devices are using which version.
  8. Have had a few random "crashes" where the process is still running but all other systems see the affected system as unavailable. Took a look in the application log: Log Name: Application Source: Application Error Date: 7/5/2013 6:31:59 AM Event ID: 1000 Task Category: (100) Level: Error Keywords: Classic User: N/A Computer: VOSTRO2 Description: Faulting application name: BTSync.exe, version: 1.1.27.0, time stamp: 0x51d56395 Faulting module name: BTSync.exe, version: 1.1.27.0, time stamp: 0x51d56395 Exception code: 0xc0000417 Fault offset: 0x00102842 Faulting process id: 0x18bc Faulting application start time: 0x01ce79439278be72 Faulting application path: C:\Program Files\BitTorrent Sync\BTSync.exe Faulting module path: C:\Program Files\BitTorrent Sync\BTSync.exe Report Id: 1eebd8dd-e55e-11e2-ab85-001d098efdae Event Xml: <Event xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/win/2004/08/events/event"> <System> <Provider Name="Application Error" /> <EventID Qualifiers="0">1000</EventID> <Level>2</Level> <Task>100</Task> <Keywords>0x80000000000000</Keywords> <TimeCreated SystemTime="2013-07-05T10:31:59.000000000Z" /> <EventRecordID>75436</EventRecordID> <Channel>Application</Channel> <Computer>VOSTRO2</Computer> <Security /> </System> <EventData> <Data>BTSync.exe</Data> <Data>1.1.27.0</Data> <Data>51d56395</Data> <Data>BTSync.exe</Data> <Data>1.1.27.0</Data> <Data>51d56395</Data> <Data>c0000417</Data> <Data>00102842</Data> <Data>18bc</Data> <Data>01ce79439278be72</Data> <Data>C:\Program Files\BitTorrent Sync\BTSync.exe</Data> <Data>C:\Program Files\BitTorrent Sync\BTSync.exe</Data> <Data>1eebd8dd-e55e-11e2-ab85-001d098efdae</Data> </EventData> </Event>
  9. I just noticed a couple of these show up in the last couple of days, after the 1.1.27 re-index was completed. What creates these and if they remain, what process didn't complete? http://d.pr/i/16Gb
  10. Do I add "Maximum Debug Log File Size" to the wish list or is that already in there somewhere?
  11. I see in many threads where an issue is being tracked down the request to enable Debug Logging . . . are there any disadvantages (performance or otherwise) to leaving the logging enabled on each system always?
  12. I was simply using the advantage to the developers as a random point, not doubting they are keeping track of feature requests. By your suggested logic users should also be able to search for feature requests, errors & solutions etc for the BitTorrent Client, but there are subcategories there. While I appreciate the enthusiasm to interact with users, it was just a suggestion not really requiring a reply.
  13. When the content is over 800 topics and over 5,000 posts it's time to simplify. It's by far the most active subforum of BitTorent Labs: http://d.pr/i/lBj6 The wishlist is the best resource for developers to see what people are interested in, 99% of the wishlist suggestions are not of interest to me and it's possible the 1% I was interested in is not of interest to 99% of users. The point is, currently there is no way for developers to know one way or the other without combing through a 20+ page post. They can also close threads or edit the title so people know they are now added features. Also, it's like reading the news, you don't go to CNN and have every story listed on one page, although I'm sure you could use a search there too and find keywords if you know what you are looking for. People like to browse things that are of interest to them, if they are categorized, you can sort by views and see things that are trending as they pertain to your interest.
  14. Would be a lot easier to find information that pertains to what people are looking for if the posts in here were categorized (ie. Windows, *ix, Android etc). Especially the Wishlist, instead of one long post you could sort by views/replies and actually see which features are the most in demand.
