music sync on iPhone successful - but then?

There's no true player baked in, and I can't imagine the following would be convenient or enjoyable for music listening...but, as I've just been using BT Sync to move podcasts from an Ubuntu machine to an iDevice, the "Quick Look" option inside the BT Sync iDevice app does open a small, featureless QuickTime player.
