  1. Thanks for the suggestion Jimmy, I've tried HandleExternalStorage but the Xposed module unfortunately makes no difference. Just trying to think of anything else that might be relevant, do you think my device's file system layout isn't helping matters? It's a GT-N7000 and the internal storage is partitioned into two, with something like (I'll check later when my battery has recharged a little) one partition mounted at / and the other mounted at /sdcard (which appears as external storage in the GUI). I've no experience with what might be considered a standard partition layout on Android as this was my first Android phone. I have now sent a proper bug report, hopefully there's something useful in the log file.
  2. Yeah it's 4.4.2, I'll send a proper bug report. If KitKat is denying access to file system, it does sound to me as if the Android version and bug might be linked somehow. If there's anything else I can do please don't hesitate to ask. Thanks.
  3. Hi, I've just installed BitTorrent Sync as I'm keen to beat my Dropbox addiction. I've installed the client on my Windows PC, and just installed the Android client on my phone. Whenever I attempt to chose a local folder on my Android device to sync, Sync crashes. Digging through the log, there's a null pointer exception to an activity (com.bittorrent.sync.ui.activity.FileListActivity). I'm using the current stable SlimROM, but I'm not sure how much that affects this error as it seems to be a problem in the Sync app itself. Sorry I can't give you more help than that at the moment, if you need more (full logs, version numbers), just ask. Thanks, Paul.
