Hi RomanZ, Thanks for this quick answer! i forgot to follow the topic, so i did not recognize earlier ;-) as the id has to be unique it does only make sense when a pc is deleted and setup new with the same drives and paths! all other cases will do some confusion in syncing and have to be configured new! right so far ??

hi, i have to setup my pc to a new installation and want to move my settings from the old machine to the new one. is it possible to copy the folder: c:\Users\blacky\AppData\Roaming\BitTorrent Sync\ to the new pc and start bittorrent sync?? or is this a problem to get my program work on teh new pc ?? or is there another way to save and restore settings ?? please give me a hint .....
