Ubuntu - "don't Have Permissions To Write To The Selected Folder"

I'm here and looking for a solution to this problem. I changed owner as root:btsync, `chmod`ed 2775 and restarted the service with service btsync restartbut still no success. PC is win8 64 bit and server is Debian 3.2.60-1 64 bit. Please help me on this issue.
