  1. Ok great thank you. One last thing, is there any chance that since this file grew so large the Mac ran out of space, that it could have caused the other syncing Mac to delete some files/folders in one of the shared drives ? Like a glitch caused by not having space to write to the other Mac ?
  2. It says 10 but I don't remember if I changed that or if it was always at 10 Can I delete the file (or move it to an external drive just to have a backup of it) and let it create a new file ? So hopefully with the changes that one will stay under control and the sync won't be interrupted ?
  3. I read up on this and turned off "Enable Debug Logging" and updated my BitTorrent Sync to the latest version. It must have been only one version behind previously. I did the update on both machines and turned off the logging on both machines as well. The syncing is working now but the log file on one of the computers is still 300gb (it's 3mb on the other). I obviously rebooted a couple times but I'm just wondering a. how long should it take or what needs to happen for that 300gb file to come down in size b. can i delete that file ? will it just recreate it and not get so large ? Thank you ! Edit: To clarify, this is on 2 Macs both running 10.8.5 and the sync.log i'm referring to is in the user Library and Application Support -> BitTorrent Sync
