Windows Server 2016: this happens when sharing a single file from a directory. The user than runs resilio has definitely full access to the file and the directory (he can open, read, write file in explorer). But the folder has limits to other users (so not all users have read access for instance). what could be the reason?

what's not to understand? resilio remote, share folder, get link -> resilio local (on qnap), add folder, paste link -> error message as posted. -

Because I installed from the app center. anyway, after upgrading to the latest version (2.5.5 (1030)) the problem persists. -
on a qnap QNAP TS-253A with resilio 2.4.4 (732), when trying to add a folder from a remote system into a local folder I get: "Sync does not have permission to access this folder". this happens with all folders on two different machines.
