  1. Thanks Gane! I had to do more digging on how Bridge handles files, but I figured it out back then. I'll post it here for anyone who may read this in the future. Turns out Bridge, when you don't use sidecar xmp files, stores any changes you make in a different, centralized folder. That's why nothing was syncing... the edit information was in a separate, unsynced folder! I just bit the bullet and decided to go back to using XMP files. Bummer, since I didn't want to resort to that, but it seems it was the only solution if I wanted to keep using both bridge and sync. If you're curious, any edits you have made without an xmp file can be easily exported by opening your file(s) in Camera Raw, clicking the options button (under the tabs, on the far right) and select "Export Settings to XMP". Obsiously, if you've opened multiple files, they all have to be selected for this to be applied to all of them. Once the XMP files were created, all edits instantly showed up on the other pc, as always - Gonz
  2. Hello all! I've searched for this "bug" in the forum and on google, but haven't found anyone having the same problem (which is funny, because that's never happened to me! lol). I synced my photography work folder (from PC to laptop), and when the files were finished transmitting I closed it up and set off on my trip, confident I'd be able to get some work done while away. I was surprised (and confused) when I opened up my CR2 files in Adobe Bridge.... The pictures were all there, but none of the work I had done on them. It was as if I had just uploaded them from the camera. None of the adjustments or edits. Nothing. I suspect this may be due to the fact that Bridge and Camera Raw don't save information like other programs (via an actual "save" event which I guess changes the "date modified" info?), but I may of course be wrong. I don't use xmp sidecar files (I have Bridge set to save everything within the cr2 file). Has anyone had the same problem? Does anyone have a solution? I'd hate to have to just manually remember and copy individual folders each time I change something... that's kinda why I installed a (cloudless, limitless) syncing program in the first place! lol Running Windows 10 Home on both machines. Thanks in advance! - Gonz
