atman
I have a question:I would like to have my companys files synced from location to location. I'm concerned that bittorrent will be able to check my files?I'm i wrong?
GreatMarko
I'm i wrong?Yes! Your data is encrypted in transit, therefore BitTorrent Inc have no access to the physical data you're sharing. However, if you're intending on syncing critical/sensitive company files, please do bear in mind that this software is currently only in "alpha"
rdebath
What's more the currently release version does actually have a bug that can on occasion delete every file in the shared folder.Test it properly and it will delete your files, all your files. atman
thanks for the reply!I'm still curious why didn't they just open source?it would be a faster development process?Since it's not open source who knows if there's back doors?I'm going to try out with two folders I'm not to worried about. I'm hoping it doesn't delete my files.
