realdeco Posted June 25, 2013 Report Share Posted June 25, 2013 Hi im a new happy BTSync user, recently installed it on 2 of my pc's and that part works great , then i wanted to install it too on my ubuntu server, to make that one the "cloud" for the other pc's..i installed the apt as described:sudo add-apt-repository ppa:tuxpoldo/btsyncsudo apt-get updatesudo apt-get install btsyncand that part went fine too, set it up from web ui to sync with the pc's using same secret, and i can see on the pc's that it's connected, but nothing syncs to the ubuntu box?, also i can't find any .sync directory anywhere. what am i doing wrong? - im no linux wizzard so there's a big chance it's just me -Deco Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
realdeco Posted June 25, 2013 Author Report Share Posted June 25, 2013 problem solved and it was partly myself, 1.1.15 on ubuntu and 1.0.134 on the windows pc's, because the pc client linked to on the main download page (http://labs.bittorre...ments/sync.html) is not the latest one which i assumed, so once i got the client from this link: http://syncapp.bittorrent.com/1.1.15/ all was fine maybe someone should update the main link..-Deco Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
