GreatMarko
is there any way to retrieve the secret of a shared dir of this running instance using the command line? The secrets can be found in your sync.conf config file
sfera
no, they can't be found in the conf as they were originally added using the web ui at a time i had physical access to the server. the config file doesn't seem to be updated when adding shares using the web ui.i tried accessing the web ui using a command line web browser (lynx) but had no success as the browser failed to display the web interface correctly.a cli interface for running instances would be very useful imho

rdebath
In case someone else searches for this you could setup a tunnel with your ssh connection. Get ssh to tunnel your localhost port 8888 to port 8888 on the remote machine.$ ssh -L 8888:127.0.0.1:8888 remoteserver then in another xterm$ firefox http://localhost:8888
