crash893
Is there a way to have the host only push updates during a certain time (say after biz hours for example)
GreatMarko
There is currently no built-in scheduler in Sync... there are potential workarounds though - for example, on Windows you could use the system Task Scheduler to automatically run Sync at certain times each day, and kill it at others.i.e. setup a Scheduled Task to run Sync everyday at 6pm, and then kill it at 8pm
crash893
just as a follow up this is for clients I can't really control so what i ended up doing was closing the port on the router to my office during biz hours then starting 7pm it opens and all they users desktop and my document changes come flooding on in. Canyon
Considering to use the system Task Scheduler to automatically run Sync at certain times each day and kill it at others, would there be any suggestions how to avoid BTSync being killed by Task Scheduler before its sync workloads completed? Sometimes the file and its change being synced is quite big and the sync speed is slow, uncertain how long it would take to sync.
