ArturMaly
Hi, I'm currently using BT Sync to sync my files on PC and Laptop. I have not used PC wit Atom D510, 6GB of RAM and 2x1 TB HDD and I want to use it only to backup files throught BT Sync. What is the best way to make BT Sync only BOX ? nils
I would recommend one of these options:FreeBSD with a ZFS mirrorLinux distro with ZFSonLinux and zfs mirrorIf you do not feel comfortable with Linux/Unix, then set up a Windows machine and a mirror on the two hard drives. Install BTsync and create or import shares. Done!
peva3
I would even suggest just going with FreeNAS on a USB stick and then loading up BTSync (freebsd version) on the ZFS pool you make, it's what I use personally and it runs fine (as long as you run it from the pool (ei /mnt/yourzfspool/).
