NAT-PMP and UPnP

Hi, I'm running btsync 1.2.68 on debian 64 bit.

 

I notice in my log

Is NAT-PMP related to UPnP?

I disabled UPnP because I chose a port that is forwarded by my firewall.

 

What else do these messages means?

We will add a function for disabling NAT-PMP in the next version of btsync. NAT-PMP allows a computer in a private network (behind a NAT router) to automatically configure the router to allow parties outside the private network to contact it (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NAT_Port_Mapping_Protocol). Don't worry about this message. Thanks!

I read this article on wikipedia before, but for me it's the same UPnP does, so I didn't really know how to interpret them.

I'll ignore them :-)
