nate_doggg Posted November 21, 2013 Report Share Posted November 21, 2013 I have been using the software for a while now without any problems, but today I have just noticed that loads of my files now have the extension !SYNC e.g. filename.pdf.!sync and I dont know why? I have tried changing the file extension and removed the !SYNC but the files wont open. Its happened to about 4000 files and important ones too, and I have no idea how to fix it. nate_doggg Posted November 21, 2013 Author Report Share Posted November 21, 2013 Looking further into this, it seems to have happened mainly to new files added 11 days ago, and it looks like the same happened a few months ago as I am finding old files. I currently have it set up where I have two Windows 8 machines both with 2 x 3tb drives in them and I have two sync's setup, Drive 1 to Drive 1 and Drive 2 to Drive 2 so we both always have the same file structure and files. Could something have happened where the software has messed up what files are the newest and is there any way of fixing these .!sync files?
