Airport And Local-Only Network On Osx - Bt Sync Mostly Doesn't Work For Me

I'm have setup MacBook laptops and mobile on local network only without Internet access, just local.

I have Airpot Extreme setup and works fine, I can even sync files between computer and iPhone and USB stick plugged in to Airport connected, all works fine.

But I can't get BitTorrent Sync work properly. Does the fact of being on local not work only defy the purpose? The sync only works on and off and mostly not. It starts when BitTorrent Sync loads but it doesn't work when I reconnect to the network again.

I hope e way I described it makes sense. Here are screenshots of settings. What am I missing? Do I need to look somewhere else?

These are details from Airport:

Hmm.. Seems I'm alone with this weird config.

Somewhere I read I need to setup UDP broadcast or open UDP ports on Airport device. I tried open ports as indicated in BTsync on Airport for the machines and their IP addresses but no help either. I haven't tried UDP broadcast as I don't understand it and I have no idea what the implications would be.

I understand BTSync can work behind firewall as local private sharing network and it works for the paranoid people too as its relatively secure plus I can control when it's on or off. With folder and files sharing I can't control unless I use separate user account. So BTSync seems to me a good fit. Plus it gives convenience and privacy when accessing and sharing remotely.

Hmm, does it mean can't run BT on local network without having to setup the server as a tracker??

Thanks for clarification
