tebazil
Hi, dear people! I have this problem: I sync 2 devices, android and ubuntu pc, connected to the same wifi router. While android->pc seems sending files perfectly well, there is no upload speed for pc->android. The folders are created on android, but they are empty, and in web client the whole upload is like 'pending'. I tried disabling/enabling upnp and changing the port name. Can it be the router settings? Seems unlikely, because android device is doing pretty well uploading. What else can I try? Thanks. Here is what comes after the folder loading, if I run btsync in --no-daemon mode:UPnP: Could not map UPnP Port on this pass, retrying.UPnP: Could not map UPnP Port on this pass, retrying.UPnP: Could not map UPnP Port on this pass, retrying.NAT-PMP: Mapped TCP port 12345 -> 192.168.0.68:12345NAT-PMP: Mapped UDP port 12345 -> 192.168.0.68:12345NAT-PMP: error: Network Failure (e.g. NAT box itself has not obtained a DHCP lease)UPnP: Unable to map port 192.168.0.68:12345 with UPnP.UPnP: Unable to get external IP.UPD: I have enabled UPnP on the router and ticked 'enable forwarding' in the web interface... now I constantly see these lines:UPnP: Unable to get external IP.Incoming connection from 192.168.0.17:27727Incoming connection from 192.168.0.17:27727Incoming connection from 192.168.0.17:27727Incoming connection from 192.168.0.17:27727Incoming connection from 192.168.0.17:27727Incoming connection from 192.168.0.17:27727Still no uploading is happening... Why?
tebazil
Would you please advise where can I also look for the answer and how can I diagnose the problem? Thanks
RomanZ
Hi tebazil, The most common issues are either permissions or firewall. Collecting debug logs can shed the light on what happening in your setup. Here goes the topic with instructions. Thanks!
tebazil
Well, that's pretty strange, but after several updates (on android and linux pc's) it's working perfectly. Maybe developers did fix the reason after all. Thanks.
RomanZ
@tebazil, Devs are working hard to improve BTSync and make it more reliable. I also suggest that your issue was fixed in one of development builds.
