[Solved] [: -Eq: Unexpected Operator

For what it's worth, I was getting this on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (64 bit). I did the following and it went away:

 

sudo dpkg-reconfigure btsync

 

I opted not to make a new default config file in the "wizard" that pops up by selecting "no" and the "wizard" closed. I was concerned it would wipe out my existing settings but it did not.

 

Then I did:

 

sudo apt-get install btsync

 

This time the install completed without throwing any errors. I had the package marked as a hold for months trying to figure this out.
