CrayTo5 Posted April 13, 2014 Report Share Posted April 13, 2014 Each sync folder on my Android device has an "Automatic sync" checkbox in the folder settings. Is this simply an ON/OFF switch for syncing this folder, or does it modify some other node discovery attributes? If it is the former (simple ON/OFF), how does this differ from the "Pause" option? RomanZ Posted April 14, 2014 Report Share Posted April 14, 2014 CrayTo5, Auto sync does not affect discovery options. If it is set, it will simply grab all the files from other peers and deliver to your Android. If it is reset, if allows you to select which files to download - and will seed to other peers only downloaded files. Pause actually pauses current upload/download operations, regardless if you are syncing auto or selectively. While selective sync (=non-auto) allows you to download only those files you choose.
