roseap
Windows 7 desktop, syncing to a ubuntu server (using the read-only key from the desktop). I created a Backup folder within my user folder. In this folder, I used the Link Shell Extention tool to create links to the Documents, Music, Video, and Desktop folders. All of them seem to sync fine except the Desktop folder. I changed the name of the link to "Desktop Folder", and removed desktop.ini from .SyncIgnore, but that didn't seem to help. Any other ideas to try? Has anyone else run into this issue before?
RomanZ
@roseap, First of all - please check that the desktop link is indeed a directory junction (not a symlink, not a shortcut). If this is not your case - try to collect debug logs and see what is happening inside regarding your desktop link.
