I want to backup to my Linux server from several Windows laptops. There are already other backup options but backing up via btsync would be much easier and much faster. Normal sync isn't desired either because I want to back up to the same location on the server, but I don't want every client device to have all other clients' files on them as well. So simply set up one shared folder per client. And for true backup functionality remember to set sync_trash_ttl to 0 - otherwise deleted files and old versions will disappear from the backup copy.
