Sync_lost
Hi, I can pair devices without any problems when i create connection over "internet". Devices: Server ( win7/win8)client ( android ) But if i disconnect all access to internet and try to use my local WIFI network i cannot sync files between services anymore. WIFI service is created via Virtual Router Manager v1.0 and Android-client can connect to it but still "no connected devices is shown" All ideas and comments wellcome. Sync_lost
all clients ( which are connected to adhoc network ) can sync files without any problems. But the pc ( where the virtual router is running ) cannot access the same network. Can I define ip and port that bittorrent server should listen? RomanZ
@Sync_lost when your PC runs the virtual router - is it able to send and receive data to this virtual router? Also, when your setup is done - how many active NIC adapters (real and virtual) do you have on your PC? BTSync has some issues with LAN devices discovery if multiple active interfaces are present. RomanZ
@Sync_lost Great. We are going to fix this issue in upcoming 1.4. For now - use only one adapter active.
Sync_lost
I also noticed that when i'am using virtual hostednetwork on my pc bittorrent sync server must be restarted after the hostednetwork has been started. Otherwise it cannot find clients from created WIFI network even all unneeded adapters are disabled. Is this different issue or related to the same ? RomanZ
@Sync_lostYep. Same issue. BTSync binds it multicast port to only one adapter (one that seats on the top).
