sirio81
I have a pc with v1.3 and my mobile automatically upgraded to v1.4.Correct me if I'm wrong: they can't work together right? They need both to be 1.4.
GreatMarko
1.3.109 (the most recent build of 1.3.x available) IS compatible with 1.4.x - (although 1.3.x won't accept links, which are new for 1.4.x) - see this article. Generally speaking though, given the "fluid" and evolving "beta" nature of Sync, it's always advisable to run the latest version of Sync available for your device where possible, to ensure maximum compatibility and stability. sirio81
Thank you for your answer. Is there anything particular I have to take care before upgrade form 1.3 to 1.4 in my linux workstation?Usually I stop the process and overwrite 'btsync' file. RomanZ
@sirio81There is a known issue for Linux-based machines: if you run it with config file, make sure your config does not contain credentials. Also, it might take a while for the first start as DB format between 1.4 and 1.3 has changed. Also note, that downgrade is not possible (by same reason - DB is different).
