dd6905
Hello, 1) I've got the "Store deleted files in folder archive" selected, but i'm low on spaceand is there an ability to throttle how much GB or number of days is stored. My understanding is archive is stored 30 days. I'd like to say like only use up1GB for archive space, or throttle down to 7 days of backup. 2) Can I just delete files in this archive with the delete button, or are the existenceof the files tied to some .sync* file needs to know it was deleted. I'm afraid I'll corruptinternal mechanism and screw things up. 3) When the file is deleted, all the peers delete the file, but does it also storethe deleted copy on all the peer's archive folder, or just on the system the filewas originally deleted from? Harold Feit
I can say for sure about your first question that you can adjust the archive's storage day count in preferences - advanced. the value is sync_trash_ttl and the value is in days. I'm PRETTY sure that you can just delete the files from the syncarchive folder and it won't break anything. If you want to test safely, move the files completely out of the archive folder to a folder that isn't part of the sync. Each individual computer's syncarchive folder is independent.
