Eric Girouard
I have a 950Gb stock photo folder I would like to keep synced with BTS in between a desktop and an external HD to be used on a laptop. The initial sync time over the network says "six months". No go. If I copy the photo folder to the external drive while plugged to the desktop (5 hours) then unplug it and move the hard drive to the laptop and launch BTS, would it sync properly?TIA

In short; yes!

nicopo
Same purpose as Eric's: I want to backup a large amount of data. Yet I want my distant backup to be in "Read only" mode to avoid that any mistake on my backup impacts my main storage. Can I still perform my initial transfer via hard drive? I did not manage to do it so far.
RomanZ
@nicopoYes, you can. What exactly didn't you manage to do? Could you please elaborate?
