scottbakertemp
As a test, I tried creating an m3u playlist file with a list of mp3's in the same folder. Obviously it synced just fine. Is there a way to play the playlist on an iphone or ipad?
GreatMarko
Is there a way to play the playlist on an iphone or ipad? Yes, with something like VLC.
scottbakertemp
Yes, with something like VLC. VLC isn't available anymore. I found power player and good player - which will both open the m3u file. However neither will play it. Do I need to use a different playlist format? Am I missing something else? RomanZ
@scottbakertemp M3U playlist is actually text file and is human-readable. It may contain both absolute and relative paths. At the end of day, iOS still have its filesystem (though does not show it to user) and if your M3U contains relative paths and files are stored in same relative position (which means at least they should stay in the same app on iOS) - there are good chances that player supporting M3U can play it.
