steingart
I'd like to be able to synchronize folders without having to have one in the "btsync" folder. I was able to do this without issue in 1.4. And I can still do it with folders that are identified as "1.4" Any way to do this in 2.0? If so I can't figure it out. Is the key structure completely out of bounds for 2.0. Finally, if so, can it be re-enabled, please? Thanks in advance.
GreatMarko
1) Go to "My Devices"2) Select your current device3) Change it's initial folder status to "Disconnected"4) You'll then be able to specify the location of future incoming folders before they start to sync to your device
MisterRider
FYI: this is *so* unintuitive! The default behavior in 1.4 was the opposite (link a folder directly to another folder with no "Master" or "default directory". Why wasn't this made clearer? Moe
The interesting thing in BitTorrent Sync development as an application is that people don't see that it now works like dropbox. It has a home directory and from there you can share data by default. Just a thought put in words.
