bromine Posted July 19, 2015 Report Share Posted July 19, 2015 Throughout the 2.0.x series, and now also in 2.1.x, BTSync has been hammering the CPU on one of my computers (but not on the other). The computer with the problem is a 2013 Retina MacBook Pro running OS X 10.10.4. BTSync utilization climbs up to 92% and stays there, occasionally reaching into the 110%. Any suggestions for how to fix this or how to troubleshoot it are welcome. I have already tried disconnecting and reconnecting all my synced folders, with no improvement. jannej Posted July 21, 2015 Report Share Posted July 21, 2015 I have the same problem on both my machines running OS X 10.10.4. CPU is always att 99% för BTSync process. Updated to BTSync 2.1 but the problem still remains. Is there a problem when you have a lot of files? I have big Xcode projects and sites synced. The UI of BTSync also turns very unresponsive to.
