Helen
>why that is the name of the server in preferences of the server WEB UIit's taken after you computer name - smth that you'll see after executing "hostname" command >why the folder appears 1.4?these are the folders that were in Sync before you updated to Sync 2.x. The difference between folder v1.4 and folder v.2.x is pretty significant, so these are distinguished. I'm not sure what Leo Moll meant by btsync-common, rather ask him. But it looks like he no longer supports his packages. So you could use latest Linux binaries

Helen
and what can i do to change the folder to 2.x ???You need to re-add them to Sync. Note that in Sync v2.2. in Free version only standard 1.4 folder can be added. To add advanced 2.x folder you need Pro. You can find information on updating the package to 2.2 on this page Also, as far as I understood, Silvenga has created his own PPA, on same page there is a link to it. Helen
Reco-X, You mean replace the binary? You can do that in the file explorer. If just replacing doesn't help, you might need to edit the package's configs, as per this post and you can do that both - via text editor or command line (you might need write permissions to edit those files). Or if you pick to use Silvenga's package, you will need to follow his instructions.
