agavrilescu
Hi guys, i have a question, maybe someone can help me out with. I am trying to sync my laptop's windows 10 user folders (Desktop, Documents, Music, Video, Photo, etc...) with my desktop pc and a windows 10 vm. I managed to share the folders without any problem on all computers but the problem is sync creates new folders on the other computers, like Desktop (1), Documents (1) etc instead of merging the user folders (see attached screenshot). In sync setting I have set the Default Folder Location to C:\Users\"myusername" on all pc's I was wondering if by any chance is possible to sync the user folders as they are. I do have the pro version and I was thinking selective sync might help doing so but I don't see any option on how to do this.
Frank Maier
Because the folder exists already, Sync creates a new one, to not overwrite the existing one and cause a huge mess if it wasn't intented. Try to add the folder manually, by using the Read/Write key of the folder and select as destination the existing folder. Resilio will ask you if you really want to do this, because the folder exists already, but it's fine.
