Plasma Posted January 22, 2021 Report Share Posted January 22, 2021 My sync client is telling me that my drive is running out of space, and its correct when I check the remaining space there is only a few hundred Mb left. I started to look in to this, and have been deleting stuff from my Sync folder at the 'Source' to try and resole this, the Source is now at 160Gb. However when I do a 'Get Info' on my machine that is running out of space it tells me there is 284Gb in the folder but the contents look almost the same, and as I delete folder the disappear but I don't get any space back. On investigation I have found there is a hidden '.sync' folder with a sub folder in there called 'Archive' which has 166Gb of stuff in it, this is why I have no space left on my drive!!! What is this .sync/Archive folder for and am I ok to simply delete it to free up space so my folders will sync again? Plasma Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
