lip5016
Hey everyone, I've just got a new Synology DS1520+ NAS. As per the Resilio website, I downloaded and installed the recommended package: resiliosync_geminilake_2.7.2.1375-1 When I go into Package Center and hit open, it opens up a Google Chrome window and says "Privacy Error". Your connection is not private Attackers might be trying to steal your information from 192.168.1.164 (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards). Learn more NET::ERR_CERT_INVALID I'm not sure what to do at this point. Can anybody help?

Alex_W
Resilio Sync has a self-signed certificate for WebUI, that browsers need to accept or to make an exception for, see https://help.resilio.com/hc/en-us/articles/4404757430291-Browser-warning-Your-connection-is-not-private-
sabgigo
Just for clarification, the self-signed certificate used by Resilio Sync is completely adequate for security purposed, and does not require replacement with your own private certificate, which is optional, and the process to use your own certificate is detailed within this forum. Just realize that doing this is not required, it is only necessary to follow the instructions given above to create the exception to allow your browser to access the site. You also need to repeat this process for any browser on any computer or mobile device you use to access the WebUI for Resilio Sync.
