  1. That's strange - link looks correct: https://download-cdn.resilio.com/stable/synology/x86-7.0/0/resiliosync_x86-7.0_2.8.1.1390-1.spk Please try again.
  2. Check this article: https://help.resilio.com/hc/en-us/articles/204762369-How-to-apply-license-key-and-share-license-seats
  3. Such behavior is possible, if the folder with the license key file can be listed, but the file itself cannot be accessed by the user, that Sync runs under (usually "rslsync"). Please check the permissions of the license key file.
  4. Indeed, one cannot control the order of downloading files. As a workaround, Selective Sync might be used -- you can download a first file (or a couple) using Selective Sync, then disable Selective Sync for the folder and let Sync download the rest in any order, while you are busy with the already downloaded one(s). 😉
  5. Try this article from Sync Knowledge Base: https://help.resilio.com/hc/en-us/articles/206178924-Installing-Sync-package-on-Linux in particular, the "Managing Sync" section, and sub-section "Alternative: Running Sync under the current user".
  6. To get immediate updates about file changes and start delivering changed files, Sync subscribes to OS notifications. Different operating systems have limitations for folder-monitoring applications. For example, if a file is in a deeply nested folder on a Windows PC, it will not send change notifications for these deeper levels. To cover such cases, Sync periodically re-scans all folders for changes. The default period for such rescans is set to 600 seconds (10 min). Sounds like your NAS doesn't send file change notifications. To get changes from such NASes synced faster, one can reduce the periodic re-scan interval (but one shouldn't make it too short, since the re-scan itself also takes time). Another option is manual (forced) "Rescan" of the share (via shared folder preferences) after the important changes have been made that should be synced to other peers ASAP.
  7. Sync packages for NASes are available in Sync KB: https://help.resilio.com/hc/en-us/sections/32030969152019-Install-on-a-NAS Important: Do not attempt to update Resilio Sync Business installation to Resilio Sync v3. It is not supported and access to the configured shares will be lost. Reinstalling of Sync will be required. If you use Resilio Sync Business, please continue using Resilio Sync v2. The latest available version is 2.8.1.
  8. The Sync packages for NASes will be released a bit later. No ETA at the moment, sorry for the inconvenience.
  9. Thank you for your report! Could you please check your mailbox now?
  10. Hi, Could you please try to subscribe again with your primary email address?
  11. It is a possible setup (with so called "nested shares"), but it has its own nuances one should be aware of: https://help.resilio.com/hc/en-us/articles/205506159-Is-it-possible-to-share-a-nested-folder-separately If every subfolder is shared separately and synced to different machines, why would one need sharing their parent folder? It sounds superfluous in your initial task. I would recommend simply sharing the subfolders.
  12. Add each of your 3 subfolders as a separate share on the source peer. Then you can share each to the desired peer(s) and simply do not share to the undesired peer(s). The simplest way to share a folder is described in this article: https://help.resilio.com/hc/en-us/articles/205506699-Quick-guide-to-syncing
  13. The mentioned help page is for an enterprise scale product "Active Everywhere" (former Resilio Connect). "Resilio Sync" does not have the Management console and does not officially support Truenas.
  14. You don't need a second Sync "account" (actually, instance) for that. Just do not link your "vacation home NAS" Sync peer to the Private Identity of the "home NAS" Sync. Keep it independent, and share to it only the desired folders using the keys/links generated on your "home NAS": https://help.resilio.com/hc/en-us/articles/205506699-Quick-guide-to-syncing
