timj
I have used Resilio Sync on previous versions of MacOS and when not synchronizing files, Resilio Sync has consumed very little energy (<1 on the MacOS Energy Impact scale). Since upgrading to Monterey, Resilio Sync is consistently idling (no files transferring) at about 20-25 on the Energy Impact scale, which is very high. I am using Resilio Sync 2.7.2 (the latest) on a Macbook Pro Intel. When I pause Resilio Sync, the Energy Impact drops to about 15-20, which is still really high. I can't use Sync when it is consuming this much energy. Any advice for how to fix this?
kalambet
Same for the M1 Mac, 14-16 in energy points. Always in top 2 no matter how much actual sync work is in there.
Danny65
For now, it wouldn't use Resilio Sync anymore. The last update was July 2020. For the Free/Pro version. Maybe the devs stopped development without notifying the community.
