Different locations, Both have mirror of their shares, same permissions on each, GUID UID is same for users Access is via SMB on windows machine. A file saved via SMB on server one can be read again from server one no problem and edited. If you try access this file from Server 2 it opens as read only and appears to missing its permissions Same other way round also.
