I'm still on 1.3.109 and have no plans to upgrade to 1.4. I'm waiting to see how 2.0 turns out before I decide to stay with btsync or look for alternatives. Right now, 1.3 is working fine for me. You might want to install 1.4 in a couple of VMs and test it out first before you make any kind of decision. Doing this is what convinced me there really is no reason for me to "upgrade".

I got the same thing with the latest version of Crome (36.0.1985.125). It's not a web-scanner that's throwing the error - it's Chrome itself. The exact message is "BTSync-1.3.109.exe is malicious, and Chrome has blocked it.". You can click the notice for more info which takes you to this link: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/4412392?p=ib_download_blocked&rd=1 EDIT: Just tried to download BTSync v1.3.106 with the same version of Chrome and there were no complaints, so it looks like it's just v1.3.109 which Chrome has an issue with.
