  1. Hi, thanks for replying. the folder was accessible to all users. I did check the permissions. i had to purge the old and new installs, reinstall the newer version of sync and the problem was fixed. thanks
  2. ok just a bad migrate from the old to new. stuff works now. thanks.
  3. ok followed this guide: https://help.resilio.com/hc/en-us/articles/206178924-Installing-Sync-package-on-Linux got this error on install: -- Unit resilio-sync.service has begun starting up.   5. I have a pi running bsync v2.0.128 and it connot access a folder folder is /home/[user]/share/sync share is a mount point of an external drive. it and all folders under belong to the base pi user.
