wscott Posted April 16, 2013 Report Share Posted April 16, 2013 Got an invite for btsync today and started playing with it.Seeing the config option for upload bandwidth I was surprised not to use a "set automatically" option.Does btsync not use http://en.wikipedia....nsport_Protocol? That would seem to be ideal as it could be allowed to use the network as needed and not interfere with other local traffic like movie streaming.I tried to search the forums and look at the FAQ but I didn't see anything about this.Also with the linux version I was surprised it was listening on 0.0.0.0:8888 by default so anyone on the local network can see by shares and get the secrets.
