nate_doggg Posted April 23, 2013 Report Share Posted April 23, 2013 I have been using Aero FS up to now and want to move to BitTorrent Sync but wanted to clarify a question.Setup:Comp 1 with HDD XComp 2 with HDD XThe Hdd's have been synced with AeroFS up to now, so all files are up to date, do I just add the folder to BitTorrent Sync and share it with the key and the software will be able to see that both are the same and that there is no need to modify any files?Thanks,Nathan Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

One of the first things Sync does is hash check the files in the folder, so if the two folders you're syncing with are already mirrors of each other, Sync will do a scan and not actually do any file transfers.
