mose
I wrote a little post about my experience setting it up on my DiskStation and also implement propper start-on-boot.You can read it up here: http://www.blackv.tk/general/setting-up-bittorrent-sync-as-a-daemon-kind-of-on-synology-nas/
number3
There is a package now for all Synology drives...To install the BTSync package you need to add the SynoCommunity package location to your synology.Go here for the instruction: http://www.synocommunity.com/faqThen you will find the btsync package under the other sources. jred184
Using the http://synology.w01.eu repo:Install the outdated package Download the latest from http://www.bittorrent.com/sync/downloads Stop the BTSync app Copy the btsync executable to your synology box and overwrite the existing one Make the updated btsync file executable (chmo 755 btsync) Start the appYou will have the latest version. I tested this on two different boxes.
