overridex
Netgear has a line of ReadyNAS Linux devices running on SPARC architecture and glibc 2.3.2 on a stripped down Debian distribution.Any chance we can get a build of btsync for this architecture?Either that, or source code to build our own.. Thanks!-Dan
overridex
Anyone else out there want to see a build for these devices?-Dan

xminer
I am interested, but I think this is a big ask...
m45
On a second thought, I'm running one of these ReadyNAS duos, and the CPU is incredibly slow. Not sure if it would be worthwhile to port btsync to one of those. For the moment I've placed a Raspberry Pi at its side having NFS-mounted a share from the Duo which I expose using btsync on the Pi. But even there I have to turn off lan encryption etc. to get any good speeds and the Pi CPU is maxed out.
overridex
I don't think it's a big task, they already cross compile btsync for a few architectures. As far as CPU speed, that might be true, it may be slow, but I'd be interested to see how slow. doseas
I've got the same box and would love to see a build for it. Otherwise BitTorrent Sync won't be useful to me.
schultzter
Yes! The ReadyNAS is my cloud! So having BT Sync would be ideal. Unfortunately it's an original Duo v1, but it still works perfectly for everything I need. I don't think I can justify upgrading it just for BT Sync. So having a BT Sync version compiled for the Duo v1's architecture would be awesome.
bcurran3
I too would like a version of BT Sync to work with my ReadyNAS NV+ (SPARC) system. It would make the box a lot more useful to me for remote backup.
resba
I'd love this! I just recently got a ReadyNAS Duo V1 and really was surprised to not see btsync on there. It'd make the hardware really nice in the grand scheme!
mh5bl
Just to add my voice. I would use it on my readynas NVhave it running on my RN102. Works great
JoeJoomla
I would like to be able to use Bittorrent Sync on my ReadyNas Duo. Is this possible? I can see the Bittorrent as one of the Installed Add Ons in the ReadyNas but I can not figure out how to make this work with Bittorrent Sync. RomanZ
@JoeJoomlaIf you are using ReadyNAS Duo v1 - Sync won't be able to run on it due to SPARC CPU architecture. Though, it looks like Duo v2 runs on ARM CPU (Marvell 6282) so Sync should run just fine. Please see ReadyNAS instructions on app installation.
