johnsmith
Hello,I have the following scenario to test predefined hosts. (2 PCs with Win7)One PC with IP 192.168.1.10/24 and one other PC with 192.168.2.10/24 .The PCs are connected to a router who is in both subnets. Ping between PCs works and firewalls are disabled on both PCs. So Routing works. On PC with IP 192.168.1.10 I only have enabled the predefined host with 192.168.2.10:12345and on the other PC there is only predefined host with 192.168.1.10:12345Both Sync clients are configured with ports 12345. With Netstat I see that Bittorrent Sync is listening on these ports. In debug-log I can see an entry with ping directly and the IP and port of the other PC. In my router I can see that are UDP packets are runnung through the router to the right IP and port. Also with wireshark I can see some PackeBut no synchronisation... Where can be the mistake? Or is the predefined host function not ready to use?RegardsJohn
Harold Feit
Are you dealing with two separate networks here?
GreatMarko
But no synchronisation... Where can be the mistake? Or is the predefined host function not ready to use?No, the predefined hosts function is implemented - could the issue perhaps be that you're trying to use the same port number for two different devices on the same router?
