vadimt
Could you please enable and send us debug logs from this machine? You need: Step 1. Click on BitTorrent Sync icon and select "Enable Debug Logging". Step 2. Please let Sync collect logs for at least 15 minutes to get enough information. Step 3. Attach log files to your email and send to syncapp@bittorrent.com. %APPDATA%\BitTorrent Sync\sync.log Thanks!

vadimt
What type of secret are you using on your win 7 x64 machine? Files that added on machine with read only secret will not be indexed by BTSync. Thanks!
inDane
Hi, well yes, this read-only thingy was actually a problem, but i didnt set it (knowingly) to read-only. I used the Wizard on the first run and chose the folder to be synced. This didnt work. When i right-clicked the folder it said indeed something about read-only. So i took the folder out of BTSync (remove sync folder) and inserted it again with a new key. -> Did not work. Then i tryed alot of removing read-only attribute-methods on the actual folder. 1.Method -> cmd -> attrib -r Z:\path 2.Method -> right-click remove read-only flag -> Apply. 3.Method -> aquire "ownership" (known win7 problem) All of these methods didnt work. What seemed to fix the problem was: Quit BTSync. Delete all content in %appdata% /Roaming/BitTorrent Sync Delete all .sync* files in the folder i were trying to sync. Restart BTSync. Now the wizard should show up again. I just marked "Accept Terms and Agreements ..." and pressed "Skip". Then i manually added the folder ("Add a Sync Folder"). And voila, he started indexing... don't ask me why.

GreatMarko
oh wow... its pretty simple... u cannot use Full-Access secrets that start with another letter than "A".. am i right? :X Essentially that's correct - there are a few exceptions, but you should stick to full-access secrets beginning with the letter "A"
