natebluehooves
hi guys! sorry if this is the wrong section, but if it is, i don't know which it would go under so here's my situation. i am currently very successfully running bit torrent sync on my local network over four computers, and now want to have it sync outbound off campus. problem is i have two networks for this. essentially i'm wanting my spare laptop to be able to sync locally like normal, but then when bit torrent sync needs to sync outside the building to a remote client, i want ONLY that laptop to connect ONLY through it's second NIC through the school's network to the outside world, rather than going over the local connection. is there a way for me to make this happen? sorry if i'm not being concise, it's 2:40 AM and i will likely be able to speak more clearly later. TLDR: i want one computer to do local sync over NIC1 and internet sync over NIC2. how do?
dms2013
LSS: You install BTSYNC on all the computers you want to sync on, then you just add the secrets and folders. And it will start syncing,in LAN and on the Internet.
RomanZ
@natebluehooves Currently BTSync has not ability to choose which network interface to use for connection. It will choose some interface provided by OS. I would advise to have only preferred interface on.
