loki_racer
I apologize if this is covered somewhere on this site, but I was unable to google-fu this question. I have btsync installed on a Linux server. I've given access to btsync to a couple family members. I've now started using this server for other things and want to limit what folders the btsync GUI can access when creating new shares. Is there a config param/file that I can edit to tell the btsync GUI it can't see outside a directory? Thanks.
RomanZ
@loki_racer There is no such param. However, you can run btsync as a special user and restrict it to certain folders using Linux permissions. Just make sure it has full access to its own files. loki_racer
Cool, thanks for the reply. I think this could be a fairly easy thing to add, no?
RomanZ
@loki_racer That's for developers to judge. I suggest adding your proposal to the Feature Request forum to make sure it is not lost.
